Fujairah, UAE, March 16, 2026: A minor fire broke out at a petroleum facility in Fujairah following a suspected drone attack, authorities confirmed. Emergency and civil defence teams quickly contained the blaze, and no injuries have been reported.
The Fujairah Government Media Office stated that specialised response units acted promptly to bring the situation under control. Officials have urged the public to rely only on verified sources and avoid spreading rumours regarding the incident.
Authorities confirmed that the facility is now secure and operations are resuming normalcy.
