Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yammahi, President of the Arab Parliament, has commended the United Arab Emirates for its remarkable advancements in modernising the justice sector through the strategic adoption of artificial intelligence and digital technologies.

Speaking at the opening session of the Fourth International Conference of the Arab Union of Administrative Judiciary (AUAJ) in Cairo, Al Yammahi praised the UAE Ministry of Justice, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, and the Dubai Courts for implementing innovative digital initiatives — including virtual courts, remote litigation, and smart judicial case management systems.

He noted that these efforts have paved the way for the concept of “smart justice” in the UAE, setting new benchmarks for efficiency, transparency, and accessibility within the legal system.

Al Yammahi further highlighted that the Arab world holds several distinguished experiences in applying AI to administrative justice, with the UAE’s model standing out as a leading example worthy of global recognition and capable of inspiring judicial systems beyond the region.
