Dubai Healthcare City Authority has officially broken ground on two flagship developments, PIXEL DHCC and IBN SINA+, marking a major step in its AED1.3 billion expansion programme aimed at strengthening Dubai’s position as a global healthcare hub.
The milestone ceremony was led by DHCA CEO Issam Galadari, alongside senior officials and project stakeholders, including representatives from International Foundation Group, Design and Architecture Bureau (DAR), and P&T Architects and Engineers Ltd.
Scheduled for completion by November 2027, the developments are set to enhance the infrastructure within Dubai Healthcare City.
PIXEL DHCC will be a nine-storey, LEED Platinum-certified office building — the first of its kind within the district — spanning 13,000 square metres. Designed to support modern business needs, it will feature flexible office spaces and ground-floor commercial units.
Meanwhile, IBN SINA+ will serve as a purpose-built medical complex covering 5,800 square metres across five floors. Designed as an extension of the existing Ibn Sina facility, it will accommodate surgical, diagnostic, outpatient, and medical office services within a shell-and-core structure.
According to Galadari, the projects reflect DHCA’s commitment to sustainable, world-class infrastructure that enhances the free zone’s ecosystem and attracts foreign investment. He noted that the developments align with key national strategies, including the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the UAE Net Zero 2050 Strategy.
In addition to the two projects, DHCA is also rolling out supporting infrastructure to improve accessibility across the district, reinforcing its long-term vision of becoming a leading destination for healthcare innovation, investment, and wellness.
