More than 100 people have been killed with hundreds injured in an explosion near the tomb of former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) General Qassem Soleimani in Iran on Wednesday.
“No one has claimed responsibility for the blasts, but analysts told Al Jazeera that Iran is likely to retaliate.
The tragedy happened during the commemorations of Gen Soleimani’ anniversary who was killed by the US on 03 January 2020.
Meanwhile, the Iranian state television has announced: “Following the terrorist incident in Kerman, the government declared today [Thursday] a day for public mourning across the country.
