Dubai has emerged as a premier destination for expatriates from around the globe, including the UK due its vibrant economy, modern infrastructure, tax benefits, and high standard of living.
One expat from the UK took to X (formerly twitter) and explained how moving to the Dubai from London was the best decision ever.
He wrote ‘I moved to Dubai because it’s a great place for ambitious entrepreneurs. But the laws changed and they added 9% taxes. I’ve heard that people think the UAE tricked them. But even with 9% taxes you get so many benefits Like these:
Dubai is expensive right? WRONG. The cost of living in Dubai is approximately 33% less expensive than in London -Food -Housing -And transportation costs are also lower in Dubai Rent for a one-bedroom apartment in the city center of Dubai? Around $1,453 +$2,500 in London What else? In the Uk you have to pay high taxes for poor public services.
Dubai has way less crime than the UK. How? Dubai’s crime index is low at 15.49. The UK? 47.88. There is nothing better than Dubai’s safe streets with no crime. In the UK people will rob you for a $1,000 watch on the street. In Dubai I’ve met people who drop $1,000 on dinner.
Dubai offers an “endless summer” with a subtropical desert climate. AKA – 350 days of sun. The average temperature in Dubai is 29.9°C (85.82°F) And London? 12.17°C (53.91°F) The numbers speak for themselves.
Dubai has a thriving fitness culture. With state-of-the-art gyms and fitness centers. Fun fact: The UAE is recognized for its commitment to health and fitness. The Dubai Fitness Challenge reflect the country’s dedication to promoting physical well-being.
Zero toxic wokeism. Dubai supports traditional family values. -Family -Respect -And hospitality Are central to Emirati culture. With a focus on maintaining strong family ties and cultural tradition
In the Uk most people think getting rich is impossible. In Dubai everyone is motivated to get rich. In the Uk people have a scarcity mindset. Dubai has forward thinking people with an abundance mindset.
I still miss home. But moving to Dubai was the greatest decision of my life. Reality is negotiable. Choose wisely’, concluded the expat.
